The best of us (TV show proposal)
Dear Sir,
I am writing with regards to your requirement about a new television series for teenagers. I belong to a production company interested in offering a game show named “The best of us” which will increase your weekend audience.
The programme consists of teenagers showing their skills and hobbies. It is addressed to students from secondary school from different provinces of Argentina. The show will engage teenagers who are at home due to the fact that they will be the ones in charge of judging the performers by sending text messages. In addition, the audience that will be in the set will also act as jury. They will give their opinion by pressing a bottom.
It will be a weekly show that will last three hours and students from all over the country will participate. Every week two schools from the same province will show their talent to obtain a place in the final competition. The winner group of each programme will compete for the biggest prize. It will consist of a trip and an amount of money to invest in their school.

I think this programme means important teenagers' participation. Not only adolescents are the ones who participate, thay are also the ones who decide the winner. This is a good idea to engage teens' interests in the show; watching the the programme and being part of it. I like the idea of this TV show. However, I don't think the letter includes details enough to get the attention of the person in charge of the selection of the best proposal.
As regards YAL, I think this proposal fits Small's characteristics. The facts that adolescents are the main caracters in the show and that the events (in this case, the games) are related to teenagers mean that adolescents are the centre of the show.
Hi, people! I think the idea of your programme is quite appealing for teenagers. Besides, its "format" and the way in which it wil work is very clearly explained. However, I agree with Nadina in the sense that perhaps you should have given more details about the activities that will be carried out on it.

Very appealing for teenagers, in my view. I like the fact that students from all over the country have the possibility to take part. Just some little criticism as regards the skills they will be showing on the programme. Will they be related to some particular knowledge? Physical skills? I like the layout, though. I've just noticed that my criticism coincides with the ones expressed by the previous students.
Hey guys, very interesting show! I wanted to know what the skills and hobbies were about (drawing, singing, solving mathematical problems...) and I liked the idea of pressing "bottoms" but it will be a little too wrong for teenagers to do in public. Besides they could be sued for sexual arrasement...nah, joking hehehe
hi everybody, all the abilities that properly fit in a programme that maybe a complete family will watch. Imagine what will happen if you appear in a tv programme.... I am sure that even your pets will watch you. jajaja
This is definitely the proposal I like the most. It sounds really interesting, motivating, and appealing for teens.
I agree with my partners as regards the lack of details concerning the skills, activities, etc. Although we can imagine that teens will not be expected to climb Everest, I think that specifying the activities is necessary. Very nice proposal, though!
